Non-invasive vascular testing is performed by a Registered Vascular Technologist and used by your physician to obtain information about the various veins and arteries in your body.
Most of the exams use ultrasound imaging to assess these vessels for size, blood flow, and to determine if there are any blood clots. Another type of exam called a PVR may be ordered to assess and diagnose Peripheral Artery Disease.
Special Instructions
When you schedule your appointment, you will be given any special instructions that you may need to follow for your testing procedure. You may be required to fast prior to your appointment. Comfortable, two piece clothing is recommended for your procedures. Please bring your current medical insurance card, photo ID, order for the test, and any copay or coinsurance you may owe.
