Ultrasound

Ultrasounds use harmless high frequency sound waves to view various organs in the body. Common ultrasound exams will view the liver, kidneys, pancreas, thyroid, ovaries, and bladder. These images are interpreted by a Radiologist with the results sent to your physician.

Special Instructions

When you schedule your appointment, you will be given any special instructions that you may need to follow for your testing procedure. You may be required to fast or drink a specific amount of water. Comfortable, two piece clothing is recommended for all ultrasound procedures. Please bring your current medical insurance card, photo ID, order for the test, and any copay or coinsurance you may owe.
